Wrapped TREAT$ Vol 1 – Stranger Things

Stranger Things is a popular Netflix sci-fi horror series set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, about a group of kids, their families, and a psychokinetic girl named Eleven who uncover supernatural mysteries, secret government experiments, and a parallel dimension called the “Upside Down,” filled with monsters, culminating in a fight against powerful entities like Vecna and the Mind Flayer.

The series ended with Season 5 and is streaming exclusively on Netflix.

Since my brother loves this show, I decided to create a Stranger Things themed Wrapped TREAT$ for him Christmas 2025. Since this show is also one of my favorites I started collecting items in 2024! Note: These recipes are inspired by the Wrapped TREAT$ theme and come from a mix of original creations and talented culinary creators we admire. Each one has been tested and loved by us for its flavor, fun, and fit with the theme!

• Red Velvet Cookie Pizza – The First Year Blog, Beth
  Took all of the red velvet cookie dough from this recipe and pressed it into a parchment lined pie pan, baked it until the edges set, cooled completely, and put the cookie and parchment paper in a decorated pizza box. Carefully decorated the pizza after it was placed in the box. The cookie pizza had vanilla melting wafer as the cheese and cream cheese oreo mushrooms:

• Vanilla Waffle Cookies – The Novice Chef, Jessica
  Put these in an empty Eggo box or use a bakery box and call them ‘Upside Down Waffles’ based off of Eleven’s waffle obsession.

  Create the Stranger Things Light Wall with this cake: Bake this cake in cupcake molds or mini cake pans and frost with white icing, use m&m’s for the lights, and black icing or black edible ink to connect the lights.
