Oreo Muddy Buddy

Last year, those who received our Christmas TREAT$ got to enjoy our Oreo Muddy Buddy, which we affectionately called Snoopy Kibble. This simple and sweet Chex mix is packed with cookies and cream flavor in every bite.

Feel free to use any Chex mix you prefer, and you can even switch it up with different Oreo flavors. But today, we’re keeping it classic with the original chocolate Oreo cookie.

Recipe

Serves 24+ people depending on the serving size.

Ingredients
  • 1 package (13.29 oz) of Oreos, crushed
  • 1 box (12 oz) of Rice Chex
  • 1 package (8 oz) of mini Oreos
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 bags (10.35 oz each) of mini Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme bars
  • 2 packs (24 oz each) of vanilla almond bark
Instructions
  1. Start by grabbing a large bowl to mix all the ingredients.
  2. Pour the entire box of Rice Chex into the bowl.
  3. Take the 13.29 oz pack of Oreos and crush them. You can place them in a Ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin or use a food processor.
  4. Add the crushed Oreos to the Rice Chex.
  5. Unwrap all the mini Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme bars and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.
  6. Add the almond bark to the same bowl.
  7. Melt the almond bark and Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme bars in the microwave, heating in 15-second intervals and stirring each time until fully melted and smooth.
  8. Pour the melted almond bark and Cookies ‘N’ Creme mixture over the Rice Chex and stir until everything is well-coated.
  9. Next, sprinkle the powdered sugar over the coated Chex mixture and stir to combine.
  10. Finally, add the entire bag of mini Oreos and stir until everything is evenly mixed.
  11. Store your delicious creation in an airtight container or Ziploc bag—or just dive right in and enjoy!

Note: While any chocolate sandwich cookie will work, Oreos are highly recommended for the best flavor. Feel free to use gluten-free products or any other Oreo flavor.
